Upcoming plantSTLOUIS Quarterly

The ultimate goal of the plantSTLOUIS network is to build a team of missionaries, plain and simple.  Therefore we want to encourage all of planters, existing church pastors, AND your leadership team members to attend.  Our next gathering is coming up in less than three weeks, August 20, 2012 – 9:00a -1:00p.  It will be held in south city at: The Church on Minnesota (current home of August Gate Church) – 2601 Minnesota – Saint Louis, Mo. 63118.

plantSTLOUIS network leaders and friends come together four times a year to learn, pray, and connect. Our next quarterly is coming up soon.

Learn: our preacher is Joe Thorn.  Joe is a pastor and church planter from the Chicago suburbs, a graduate of Moody Bible, as well as The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Redeemer Fellowship in St. Charles, Illinois.

He is also the author of the book, Note To Self.  This is a great work on the discipline of what it is to preach the gospel, not to others, but to yourself on a regular basis.  There will also be breakouts for worship leaders, team members, and prospective planters who are interested in finding out more about the network.

Pray: we don’t just talk about prayer, we actually pray together… with each other, for each other, and most importantly for an expansion of God’s Gospel throughout our city.

Connect: the goal of plantSTLOUIS is simple; it’s to build a team of missionaries. So, are you in? Who should come to a quarterly? Planters, prospective planters, planting team members, worship leaders, existing church pastors, staff, and lay leaders… get it?! Just about anyone who wants to see a true spiritual awakening in our city and a multiplication of Gospel centered, intentionally evangelistic churches. When you come to a gathering, you are going to see old friends and make new ones!
